On 20 October 2021, CEE-based media and event platform Property Forum announced the winners of its first-ever SEE Property Forum Awards. The winners of each category were selected by a jury committee, comprising top decision-makers of the Romanian real estate industry. The awards, celebrating the best projects, most impactful transactions and most inspiring personalities of the Romanian market, were presented as part of the company’s annual SEE Property Forum conference.
The list of nominees has been put together based on market data and company nominations, while the shortlist has been selected by the editorial team of Property Forum.
For six Project of the Year awards, representing different asset classes, Property Forum made its selection among real estate projects that have been completed within the past 12 months. For the Concept of the Year award, the organisers selected some of the most exciting real estate developments currently in planning or under construction.
For projects, Property Forum took into consideration the uniqueness and market impact of each development. For transactions, the team took into account not only the size of the deal but its complexity and the message it conveys for a market in recovery. For Personality of the Year, Property Forum selected real estate professionals that were the drivers of groundbreaking deals and shaped the direction of the market throughout the year.

The winners were announced during the Awards Gala and Exclusive Networking Party of SEE Property Forum 2021 at the Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest by TV and event host Constantin Opriș and Property Forum Founder & CEO Csanad Csuros.
