Manufacturing and industrial excellence celebrated in Warsaw

CEO Manufacturing Magazine would like to thank all those that attended the 5th annual CEE Manufacturing Excellence & Industrial Property Awards for 2016. Once again the awards ceremony, hosted at the prestigious Intercontinental Hotel in Warsaw, was witnessed by a select group of senior European and Central European Manufacturing professionals; affirming the event’s status as a true landmark occasion for the manufacturing industry.
Recaro Aircraft Seating, Toyota Motor Europe, Panattoni and Valeo Group were this year’s big winners.
Part of the Recaro Group, Recaro Aircraft Seating picked up four awards. The company’s Deputy General Manager Michal Nowicki was named this year’s Industry Professional, topping off a very successful night for the manufacturing company. Additional achievements on the night included, winning in the Quality Control and Customer Satisfaction categories as well as Plant Manager for Recaro’s Thomas Keller.
Panattoni Europe was once again named BTS Developer of the Year, after winning two project prizes for their BTS developments in Poland – Panattoni Europe BTS for Ideal Automotive in the small category and  Panattoni Europe Fulfilment Centre BTS for Amazon in the large category. Kajima Poland also won in the BTS medium category for NGK at Dąbrowa Górnicza in Poland.
“It is a great honour and privilege to win at such a prestigious competition,” commented Marek Foryński, BTS Group Managing Director at Panattoni Europe.
Toyota Motor Europe, one of world’s leading automobile manufacturers, also gathered a considerable haul of prizes. On the night the company was awarded for its manufacturing excellence in Information Technology, Automation & Robotics, Maintenance and Supply Chain Management Logistics.
Cushman & Wakefield continued their previous successes at the event by once again picking up the Corporate Real Estate Consultancy award.
Tom Listowski, Partner, Head of Industrial Poland & CEE Corporate Client Relations, Cushman & Wakefield, said: “This award, which we are immensely proud to receive, confirms Cushman & Wakefield’s leading position in the industrial and logistics real estate sector in the CEE region.”
Valeo Group, a leader in power and automation technologies that enable customers to improve their performance while lowering environmental impact, picked up awards in the Sustainability & Environment and Product Design/Life Cycle Management categories.
Flex, a leading sketch-to-scale solutions company that designs and builds intelligent products for a connected world, was voted as the Overall Manufacturer of the Year. And Koettermann, a producer of high quality steel laboratory furniture, won the Business and Science award.
DSV Solutions, a global transport and logistic services provider, Valeo Group, an automotive supplier/partner to all automakers worldwide, and igus, an innovator and manufacturer of polymers in motion, were also among the award winners in the Manufacturing Supplier categories.
Hays Poland, a global recruitment firm, picked up the evening’s first award in the Professional Service Provider category. Other Service providers awarded on the night included Apleona HSG in the Facility Maintenance/Property Management category. CMS was voted Law Firm of the Year, and Kajima Poland was voted Construction Company of the Year.
The sixth annual CEE Manufacturing Excellence Awards will be held on June 21st, 2018.
