"Real Estate Investment Opportunities in Romania“ economic seminar

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bucharest, with the support of Green Gate Development SRL, will organize the economic seminar „Real Estate Investment Opportunities in Romania,“ to be held on October 25th 2017, in Green Gate, Tudor Vladimirescu 22, Bucharest 5, starting at 9:00 AM. The project will benefit from the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
Romania is very important economic partner of the Czech Republic. Romania has championed economic growth in the European Union, expanding by 5,9 percent the second quarter of 2017, making it one of fastest growing countries in the region.  The foreign direct investment in Romania reached close to EUR 4,2 billion in 2016, which was an increase of 18 percent year-on-year and the biggest amount from the past eight years. In the same year our bilateral trade turnover amounted to a record value of nearly EUR 3,6 billion and the Czech Republic ranked 10th in the top foreign investors in Romania. With Romania´s ambition to join Euro zone and further integrate itself in the Union, we look at ways in which Romania could become even more attractive also for investors from the Czech Republic in the years to come. Czech-Romanian partnership still has much potential for ever closer relations, as bilateral economic partners and friends within the European Union.
The economic seminar „Real Estate Investment Opportunities in Romania“ will be held in English and it is an open discussion in which diplomats, experts and representatives of some of the most important companies debate the main investment opportunities in Romania. Through the keynote adress of H. E. Mr. Vladimír Války, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Romania as well as points of view of Romanian local authorities, business leaders of the most important Czech investors as well as local top proffessionals, we will find out what are the new opportunities for the Czech investors in Romania.
