EuropaProperty announces short-list for the 13th annual SEE Real Estate Awards

Semi-final results are now in for the 13th annual SEE Real Estate Awards representing the most outstanding and accomplished projects, companies, and individuals throughout South-eastern Europe in 2017. The anticipated celebration, which will be attended by some of the region’s leading firms and individuals, will take place on April 19 2018, at the Radisson BLU Hotel, Bucharest, Romania.
“Now the leading players from these dynamic SEE real estate markets are readying themselves for the region’s premier commercial real estate event. It pleases me greatly that we have received so many nominations. The sponsors, attendees and judges are senior level European or Central European directors, which affirms the SEE Real Estate Awards as a true industry landmark event,” remarked Craig Smith, publisher and founder of EuropaProperty, the leading commercial real estate media firm, which organises the SEE Real Estate Awards Gala & Forum in Bucharest.
With the commercial real estate investment, development, office, industrial and retail sectors all posting positive market indicators in Romania and the SEE region this year’s event promises to be one of the most important, with key local and international players already in, or wanting to enter these promising markets participating.
This year EuropaProperty is proud to announce Bulgaria as the Country of Honour. Bulgaria is regarded as offering both development and investment opportunities as it has potentially higher returns, albeit with more perceived risk, than the more established CEE markets. GDP growth is predicted at just below 3 percent for 2018.
Market leaders in both development activity and pure investment will compete for “Project of the Year” awards in the office, retail, warehouse and residential sectors. Projects are rated according to quality of design, building efficiency, quality of construction, quality of location, environmental concerns, and commercial success.
“Company of the Year” awards will be presented to the leading office, retail, and industrial developers, as well as the best performing office, retail, industrial and investment agencies. Other awards will be presented to the best investor, best investment deal, bank, professional service provider, project management, property management, law firm and architectural firm in South-eastern Europe for activities and accomplishments during 2017. Companies are judged on their overall market contribution, quality of customer services, market innovation, commercial success, leadership and market penetration.
“Retailer of the Year” awards will be given to retailers active throughout the region based on their market innovation, expansion, contribution to the market, market share, concept and design, and commercial success.
Nominations for Bulgaria, Retailer and Professional of the Year categories are still being accepted.
The semi-final results have been narrowed down, by an independent jury of judges (http://www.seerealestateawards.com/#index-jury), from a field of over 400 nominated companies and projects to determine the following semi-finalists:
