Join in Brussels the first Senior Housing & Healthcare Summit on 27 June. The event is co-organized by the SHHA and EPRA, following the strategic partnership signed earlier this year.
The aim of this LIVE event is to bring together the industry leaders and experts from across Europe (investors, operators, policy makers, financial institutions, asset managers, developers) for a deep dive into the sector and to run a dialogue between business and policy makers on the shape of the market, regulations, financials and investments.
From an SHHA perspective, our call to action is aimed to reinforce collaboration, trust and focus on the long-term. A close and successful cooperation between operators with their residents, investors and stakeholders such as local governments is the mission of the SHHA. Creating alignment in the value chain is the only way forward to tackle the biggest, residential and healthcare challenges of the coming decades.
EPRA emphasizes that with aging populations becoming a mega-trend in European societies, the need for social care and senior living is becoming ever more important, as is providing long-term retirement income as we live longer. “Because real estate is a very capital-intensive business, the private sector – through listed property companies – will always be needed to play an essential role in delivering long-term capital investment in real estate and providing quality assets for social care.” – says Dominique Moerenhout, CEO, EPRA.
The Senior Housing & Healthcare Summit will be a mix of keynote speeches, inspiring TEDx style presentations, round table discussions, experts panels and business mixer.
