WHO ARE THE SPEAKERS?
Paul Roman
CEO & Co-founder PRAS Consulting
Paul is CEO and co-founder of PRAS Consulting. His experience in IT spans over a period of almost twenty years, working for successful companies such as Vodafone Romania. During his eight years as System Administrator for Vodafone, he had the opportunity to be among the pioneers of implementations of complex IT architectures based on Microsoft technologies. Paul is Microsoft Certified System Engineer since 1999 and holds a significant number of IT certifications for different technologies. Vodafone experience helped him understand the connection between business and technology and provided the root to start his own business, PRAS Consulting. In PRAS, Paul deals with the management of the company but also retains the position of IT architect, getting actively involved in technical solutions offered by the company. In his spare time, Paul is the father of two boys and lead guitar player in a rock band.
Bogdan Dragomirescu
Business Development Specialist, PRAS Consulting
Bogdan has 14 years sales experience with IT and telecom business solutions, including long term collaborations with UPC Romania and Hostway Romania. Whether it comes to data centers, cloud, telephony or IT infrastructure management, outsourcing was always a key professional topic, so the current position of Business Development Specialist at PRAS Consulting came as a natural step forward in his career. At PRAS, Bogdan deals primarily with selling outsourcing services to new customers, but also with market analysis and identifying new IT partners. Bogdan is a big fan of snowboarding, electronic music, football and basketball.
Adrian Popa
Product Manager, Telekom
Adrian Popa is managing Telekom Romania’s Hosting Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure service portfolio since 2011. In 2013 they launched Telekom’s Virtual Data Center (VDC) services which became market leader in the local IaaS market. VDC is a virtual private cloud service that provides enterprise grade IT infrastructure (computing, storage, connectivity and more) in a resilient, scalable and secure manner to the local business.
Prior to 2011, he managed the web hosting product portfolio of Telekom, ensuring double digit revenue growth of the Telekom BeOnline and Reseller Hosting brands for four years in a row. Mr. Popa has a 25+ years of experience in the IT & C field and strongly believes that you must do the best you can, with what you have, where you are.
PRAS Consulting, founded in 2002 and headquartered in Bucharest, has advanced competencies in Microsoft solutions and other well-known IT&C technologies. The company has a well-defined vision for the future of this industry. PRAS Consulting offers consulting and outsourcing services, implementation of information systems and networks, and other IT&C services both for Romanian and foreign companies.
