S IMMO was among the evening’s winners three times at the presentation of the 13th EuropaProperty SEE Real Estate Awards end of April in Bucharest, Romania. The listed company took home the awards for Extension/Refurbishment of the Year, Best Future Project and Retail Developer of the Year. The refurbishment of the Sun Plaza shopping centre was selected as the Extension/Refurbishment of the Year, the office project The Mark was named Best Future Project and the company itself was honoured as Retail Developer of the Year.
“The fact that we received awards in three different categories not only makes us extremely happy, but more importantly serves as a well appreciated confirmation of the success of our daily work. Our clearly defined strategy is to create value on a lasting basis, and I think that the two projects that were honoured – our office project The Mark and our shopping centre Sun Plaza – are a perfect reflection of that. After eight years we have already crossed the 100 million visitor mark at Sun Plaza, which is another nice accomplishment and shows that we made the right decisions in the past,” commented Friedrich Wachernig, member of S IMMO AG’s Management Board.
