ABSL FDI Forum Talent Boosting Investments

Join the ABSL FDI Forum Talent Boosting Investments – a powerful event that will provide a unique opportunity to help define the strategic direction of FDI, based on experience, data, and insights into foreign investors’ needs to become an essential driver of the Polish economy.

Expert research into FDI shows a fall in optimism about the global economy compared to the beginning of the pandemic. Investors are more cautious as they gear up for a long-haul recovery for investment flows. They continue to prioritize destinations with developed infrastructure, strong governance, a technology & innovation-driven business environment, well-skilled and tech-savvy talent and macroeconomic stability. This allows Poland to seize this opportunity to protect and enforce its position in the global value chain as a desirable market for FDIs by strengthening critical assets – developed infrastructure and a digitally skilled talent pool.

The main challenge that Poland has to address is the shortage of adequately skilled talent. In order to strengthen this, we need to develop a sector talent growth strategy. A high-quality educational system is also critical to meet the demands of a constantly evolving economy and the modern labor market. Initiatives enabling the upskilling and reskilling of the potential talent pool are essential to attract new global investments. A proper blend of technological foundation and effective leadership is the path for locating Poland’s key global business roles and processes.

The highlight of the ABSL FDI Forum 2021 will be the presentation of the latest data and insights from the much-anticipated annual report – “Business services sector in Poland 2021”. It is also a unique opportunity to take part in discussions with highest-level governmental officials.
