The Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Romania) organizes Romania’s joint stand at the Expo Real München, the biggest fair in Europe for real estate projects and investments, again this year between October 4-6. It is an opportunity for the eight real estate companies and six participating local authorities to interact directly and effectively with other exhibitors, find future business partners, learn and be inspired by trends in the real estate, investment and financial markets and last but not least turn to increase its visibility. In the last five years, Romania has always occupied a place in the top ten exhibitors, surpassing countries such as France, Spain or Italy.
Romania’s stand with coordinates A1.241 includes the following representatives of local authorities looking for investors: Galați City Hall, Maramureș Business Park, Reșita City Hall, Center Regional Development Agency and Suceava County Council.
The co-exhibitors from the private economic environment, whose basic activities are the development of commercial, residential or industrial park projects, integrated logistics services, including urban development through software applications, civil and industrial constructions, consultancy, are: AFI Europe, Alma Consulting , Bucharest Real Estate Club, DeRom Total, REC Partners, Olympian Park SPEEDWELL and WDP Romania.
Alongside, Brașov City Hall and Brașov Metropolitan Agency together with partners, important investors from the region, Urban Invest, Cartier Coresi, Maurer Imobiliare, AFI Brașov, Elmas, ARO Palace have their own stand, Invest in Brașov, with coordinates A1.245.
“AHK Romania has been organizing Romania’s common stand since 2012. We started modestly, with three or four exhibitors, but with a lot of enthusiasm and with the dream of putting Romania on the real estate map of the world. It was a long road with great efforts and a lot of challenges, but we managed to overcome them at the last moment and be present. Since then, Romania’s exhibitors have been authorities – but also top representatives of the private sector, such as AFI Europe Management, Warehouses de Pauw Romania, Speedwell or REC IMMPULS”, says Sebastian Metz, General Director of AHK Romania.
In the program of the fair of specialized conferences, Romania will be present with debates on the themes: “Investments in Romanian cities. Where we work and how we live”, on October 4 and “Romania, emerging logistics and industrial hub of the Region, on October 5”, both moderated by Gerhard Rodler, editor-in-chief of “Immobilien Magazin” & Editor of “Building Times ,” of Immobilien Magazin GmbH and Ionuț Oprea, editor – “Romania’s Real Estate Guides – Market Pulse Reports”.
At last year’s edition, there were more than 19,000 participants from 52 countries, with stands displayed on an area of 54,000 square meters. With a 24-year tradition, Expo Real München has become a renowned international networking event, the place where large-scale projects, investments and cross-border financing are created. All the links of the value chain in the field come together here – from project developers, investors and financiers, to economic regions and cities – turning the exhibition into a unique event on the international market.
On the conference side, the program is also top-notch: more than 250 experts will debate with interested participants the directions towards which the property, investment and financial markets are heading, in the context of the current challenges related to climate protection, the creation of affordable housing and current interest rate policy.
