The MIPIM Awards 2021 judges shortlisted 46 finalists representing the most outstanding projects of the real estate industry in the world, and celebrating ground-breaking innovation, architecture, environmental qualities, integration and impact on the community.
The winners will be announced at the MIPIM Awards Ceremony on Thursday 17 March, 2022. Grand Auditorium, Palais des Festival from 18.30 to 19.30.
This category recognizes industrial distribution centres that integrate modern and innovative logistic facilities, maintenance, efficient work planning and implementation. Completed in 2020-2021.

LCP Trecate
At the time, the largest pre-let deal in Europe. LCP developed a new Global Distribution Headquarters for the largest global luxury brands retailer, Kering. The sale of the building achieved record pricing in 2020, the year it completed. In addition, the building achieved LEED Platinum Environmental rating – the highest rated building in Europe, and incorporated one of the largest solar panel roof installations, utilizing all roof space in addition to Geothermal heating wells.
Panattoni Amazon Swindon BTS
Panattoni Swindon 2.3 is the largest logistics building in its class in the UK. It is a bespoke design and build project for the world’s largest eCommerce retailer, Amazon. Totalling a mammoth 2.3 m sq. ft, the highly automated logistics facility located in Swindon, this fulfilment center is Amazon’s largest in Europe. The deal achieved record pricing never seen previously in the UK market. At £210 million, the development is also the largest single asset forward funding deal ever negotiated and traded in UK history. The total capital expenditure for the single project was in excess of £400 million.
Prologis Park Moissy2 DC1 – Carbon Neutral BTS for Monoprix
Located in the Grand Paris Sud region, this wide-reaching platform has been completely rebuilt on a former industrial brownfield, based on an approach blending innovation and sustainable development. It will be the first logistics platform in the world to be certified “Zero Carbon” from its construction phase through its use over the next 50 years, by the International Living Future Institute. With an area of 100,000 sqm, the platform is now used by Monoprix for a minimum period of 12 years and is equipped with the robotic technology developed by the French company Exotec.

The building is made of a wooden structure with a volume that houses eight half-levels of parking spaces to better integrate with the natural slope of the land. The parking lot has 565 spaces for cars and 12 spaces for two-wheelers and spaces with charging stations for electric vehicles. When the transition of future users’ modes of transportation renders this service obsolete, the demountable nature of parking lot will make it possible to leave room for a new occupation. The reversibility of this structure participates in the objective of an eventual transition towards a preponderant use of public transportation.
